My name is David Smith. I'm an Associate Pastor and music leader, but I'm also a man who went through a hard season — lost my job, felt the weight of it, and had to figure out who I was on the other side of that.

What I found on that journey was that men don't lack information. We lack brotherhood. We lack a place to be honest without being judged. We lack men around us who will speak truth and grace at the same time.

I built Sharpened Valor because I couldn't find a community that existed for the battles real men actually face — addiction, identity, physical health, and the quiet war in their own minds. So, I built one.

I'm here every day — posting, praying, and showing up for the men in this community. Not as someone who has it all figured out, but as a man on the same journey.
